This product is now sold under the Hoyer brand. The unit (pic 2+) available was made in the US by Wisconsin based Hamilton Medical and is 20-25 years old. The only difference I can seen between the older product and the current version is that the base has a slightly different contour on the front wheel mounts and the original version says it can also be used as a bath lift. Included are three transfer sheets, one of which appears to have seen little use. One of the rubber frame bumpers has a split in it and the brakes do not hold as firmly as they should. It is priced accordingly and less THAN the replacement cost of the transfer sheets it comes with.
This lift cannot not be substantially dismantled. It will as a consequence be shipped strapped on a pallet with end up. Shipping to most locations in Canada (southern) and the USA (lower 48) will be between $350 and $500
